I came across this article in my RSS bin from one of my favorite sites to read, The Art of Manliness. The article is a great beginning analysis of the characteristics of a virtuous man as portrayed in classic American literature. That kind of thing has always been up my alley. Give it a read, and if you haven’t read “To Kill a Mockingbird” before, you really should.

My dog’s name is Scout after this book. Love it! I’ve read it 3 times cover to cover. Ugh, the teacher is coming out in me…

I never read it in school, only about a year ago when I picked it up on my own and I absolutely loved it.
